Subscription Improvements
Subscription Duration Manager
We keep improving the Subscriptions functionality. With this release, Sana Commerce Cloud enables merchants to give business customers flexible control over their subscription durations. Customers can choose to:
-
Run subscriptions indefinitely
-
End them after a set number of orders
-
Set a specific expiration date
These options help buyers better manage budgets and recurring orders.
Merchants can enable one or both of the following options:
-
Allow to end by a specific date: Customers can define an exact expiration date when the subscription becomes inactive.
-
Allow to end after a number of occurrences: Customers can specify how many orders will be generated from a subscription.
Add Products to Subscription from Product Details Page
We are introducing a new content element on the product details page – Add to subscription.
Now customers can add a product to the subscription directly from the product details page using the Add to subscription button. This content element can be relocated to any position on the page.
Customers can specify the necessary product quantity and unit of measure, and add a product to the subscription.
Product Group Pages: Enhanced Filtering
In this release, we’ve made key improvements to the facetted filters, specifically enhancing how filters work with product groups. We’ve made several refinements to improve the user experience.
-
Facetted Filters Consistency Across Pages
Previously, the facet filter values selected on the product list page did not apply to the product group pages, requiring customers to reapply filters on those pages. With this update, any facet filter selections made on the product list page are now automatically applied to the product group pages. When a user selects filters on the product list page and navigates to a product group displayed in the filtered results, the products on the product group page will now reflect the same filter criteria.
-
Multi-Selection for Filters on Product Group Pages
We’ve also improved the Enable facets multi-selection setting in Sana Admin, which previously allowed users to select multiple values per facetted filter only on the product list and search results pages. Now, this feature extends to product group pages as well, enabling users to select multiple filter values directly on the product group pages for a more precise search.
Blog Indexing Improvements
Previously, you could only control whether the Blog page should be indexed and crawled by search engine robots or not.
With this release, we provide more flexibility over how blog content is indexed, helping to optimize SEO performance. Now, the available options are:
-
No index: The blog overview page will not be indexed and crawled by search engine robots.
-
Index overview page: Only the main blog overview page will be indexed and crawled by search engine robots. The versions of the blog page with the applied filters, for example, those filtered by author, publication date, etc., will not be indexed.
-
Index overview + filtered pages: Both the main blog overview page and its versions with the applied filters, for example, author, publication date, etc., will be indexed and crawled by search engine robots.
Bug Fixes
One of the benefits of the minor releases on a regular basis is that you constantly receive bug fixes. Below you can see the list of some bugs that we fixed in this release. We do not add all bug fixes, but only the most important ones, since there are many technical fixes, minor design fixes, or performance-related fixes that we do not add to the release notes.
- Fixed an issue with the wrong product titles showing in the checkout.
- Fixed an issue with the incorrect date picker showing in the Value field on the product page template assignment and product set creation pages.
- Fixed an issue with the incorrect values showing in the filter expression query on the product page template assignment and product set creation pages.
- Fixed an issue with deleting selected baskets on the Basket management page in Sana Admin.

When a user selects a quantity lower than the required amount to trigger the discount and applies it, the discount is not applied. However, the shopping cart is recalculated, resulting in an additional request that negatively impacts performance.
- Fixed an issue with the delivery location opening hours displaying in the incorrect time format on the Collection location checkout step in the webstore.
- Fixed an issue with the ERP coupon that cannot be removed when an automatic order discount is applied to the shopping cart first, followed by the application of the ERP coupon, and then the attempt to remove the ERP coupon.
- Fixed an issue where the Collect from store keyword is not searchable in Sana Admin.
- Fixed an issue with the date displaying in an incorrect format in the Next order date field in the subscription confirmation e-mail.
- Fixed issues where an error is shown on the Backorder lines and Lists pages is Sana Admin when there is no ERP connection.
- Fixed an issue where an error occurs on the sales document page when navigating from the Backorder lines page.
- Fixed an issue where the languages are not displaying in the language selector in the webstore when the Tweakwise app is used.
- Fixed an issue with the Customer segments field on the Create delivery date configuration page where its behavior did not align with the instructions.
- Fixed an issue with the error showing when a quote is converted to an order in the webstore and the Cut-off time info content element is used on the page.
