What’s New?
B2C Functionality Is Now Available in Essential
We decided to make B2C functionality available in the Essential plan. Starting from Sana Commerce Cloud 1.64, many B2C features are now available in the Essential plan, but not all. Some features are still only available in a higher Sana Commerce Cloud plan.
For example, this B2C functionality is now available in the Essential plan:
-
B2C registration
-
Guest checkout
-
B2C registration, profile, and shipping fields
-
My account navigation
-
Price, stock, UOM visibility settings
-
Checkout & ordering settings
-
Shipping address settings
-
Tax settings
-
Page layouts
At the same time, for example, return orders, quote to order conversion, customer segments are not available to B2C customers in the Essential plan.

Credit Limit Validation with Online Order Payments
Different companies and different customers may have different business models and needs, and it’s quite difficult to cover every possible scenario. From the beginning, Sana has supported many different scenarios with a credit limit functionality. But in the Sana webstore, it was not possible to validate credit limits when B2B customers paid the full amount online.
Now it is possible. You can enable online payments for B2B customers and credit limits validation with online payments. In this case, customers will be forced to pay online when their credit limit is exceeded, using only those payment methods that you allow.
There is a new option in the payment method settings that is used to show the payment method to customers when they exceed the credit limit when B2B customers pay online and credit limit validation is enabled with online payments.
In this case, you can show online payments and internal (on account) to give your customers the choice of paying online with a credit or debit card or on account.
Edit the “Represent an Account” System Page
There are a few webstore pages that are not yet fully editable. We are still working on this to give content managers the ability to edit whatever they want.
Now you can also edit the Represent an account system page. It is used for the sales agents and for the shop accounts with one to multi relation. On the Represent an account page, sales agents or shop accounts with one to multi relation can select a customer account they want to represent.
Enable and Disable ERP Connection
In this release we introduced the new option which is called Enable connection. This option is used to enable and disable ERP connection. When it is disabled, Sana Admin and webstore will be not connected to the ERP system.
Search Engine Optimization Improvements
We continue to improve the Search engine optimization functionality. This time we did the following changes:
-
We changed some texts and titles, updated and added the tooltip texts and changed the order of the settings on the Search engine optimization page. Also, another improvement is that when the Indexing option is disabled, the option Sitemap in robots.txt will become unavailable.
-
We added different replacement tags to the product details, product group, product list pages and blog article pages, so that it would be easier for you to create meta data for your pages.
List improvements
We keep improving the Lists functionality and in this release we did one more small change. The Rename list button now is a part of the List action buttons content element. The Rename list button content element was removed.
Changes in Naming Tabs
To provide our customers with more consistency in different names of the tabs in Sana Admin, we renamed several tabs on the Profiles & addresses page.
