Sana Commerce Framework (Webstore & Sana Admin)

Duration of Support

Every Sana framework version is actively supported for three years from the moment of the release date for our customers with a valid enhancement plan. After the active support period, we passively support the version for another two years.

Active support consists of:

  • Hotfixes for showstopper bugs (critical security issues, bugs that prevent customers from placing orders)

  • Support for new releases of the Sana add-ons for the ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics and SAP)

  • Support for new browsers (only showstopper bugs will be fixed)

Passive support consists of:

  • Hotfixes for showstopper bugs (critical security issues, bugs that prevent customers from placing orders)

  • Passive support will always be on time and material 

How Does This Work for Sana Commerce Cloud?

  • Standard Sana projects will always run on the latest framework version, and therefore automatically receive bug fixes and improvements for the framework continuously.

  • Customized Sana projects do not always run on the latest version as they don’t receive automatic updates. For those customers, the three years active support and two years passive support applies (see above). How Does This Work for the Sana Commerce Frameworks 7, 8 and 9?

The older Sana versions were not released that often, thus we have this overview including fixed dates.
