Product Completeness

With this release of Sana Commerce Cloud, we close the feature gap compared to Sana Commerce 9.3 by completing the sales agreements functionality. In Sana Commerce 1.0.13 we released the first part of sales agreements without product variants support. We are happy to announce that sales agreements now support product variants as well.

New Features

Editing Content and Previewing System Pages

We continue to expand the list of editable system pages and add preview functionality to them. This time we made it possible to add content elements above and below the main content of the following system pages:

  • Checkout (one step and multi step) – there is one system page for one step checkout and multi step, but you can preview both depending on the selected checkout type in the ordering settings and shop account type when you preview the page.
  • Sales agreements (list page)
  • Sales agreement details

Content Element Minimum Width

In addition to the content element minimum height we also added minimum width settings for desktop, tablet and mobile.

Scheduled Tasks: Time Picker and Local Time Zone

We improved the Run time field in the scheduled task settings. It is used to enter a fixed time when the task should run automatically. Instead of a simple field where a user must enter the time manually, we have added a time picker. Also, previously, when the user configured when to run the task, the server time zone was used, but now the user’s local time zone is used.

Capitalization in Theme Typography

There is a new option in webstore themes, on the Typography tab, called All caps. In typography, “all caps” refers to text or a font in which all letters are capital letters, for example THIS TEXT IN ALL CAPS. All caps can be used to emphasis a word or phrase, for example headings.

In the webstore theme, on the Typography tab, you can enable or disable the All caps option for:

  • Display heading
  • Heading
  • Main menu top level text
  • Button text

Bug Fixes

One of the benefits of the minor releases on a regular basis is that you constantly receive bug fixes. Below you can see the list of some bugs that we fixed in this release. We do not add all bug fixes, but only the most important ones, since there are many technical fixes, minor design fixes or performance-related fixes that we do not add to the release notes.

In this release we also made a few security improvements, fixed a few minor issues in the visual designer, in-site editor, checkout process validations, and translations.

  1. Fixed issue with the rel="nofollow" attribute used for all internal webstore links.
  2. Fixed issue with renaming files in File manager.
  3. Made the Report addresses field required when the option Send e-mail to report addresses is enabled in the Basics settings in Sana Admin and added validation.
  4. Fixed date format in the scheduled task logs.
  5. Fixed issue with deleting the product with all product variants from the shopping cart.
  6. Fixed issue with converting quote to order when the payment method with an extra checkout step was used.
