Product Completeness

In this release, we are adding the following features that were not yet ready in the initial Sana Commerce Cloud release.

  • Sales agreements – This feature is not yet fully ready, but we decided to split it and release the first part so that our customers for whom this functionality is important can already use it. This release of sales agreements does not support product variants. We are currently working on it to fully complete sales agreements as soon as possible. We will inform you when we add product variants support to sales agreements.

New Features

Editing Content and Previewing System Pages

We continue to expand the list of editable system pages and add preview functionality to them. This time we made it possible to add content elements above and below the main content of the following system pages:

  • Represent customer
  • Last viewed products
  • Wish list
  • Offline order payment
  • Offline order payment cancelled
  • Offline order payment confirmation
  • Offline order payment failed
  • Invoice payment
  • Search

Horizontal Orientation and Alignment of Content Elements

Until now, you could add content elements to columns vertically – each new content element was added to the column one below the other. Now you can show content horizontally in a column – from left to right. Using vertical and horizontal alignment of content elements, you can also position several content elements in a column as you like.

On the example below you can see four columns with icons and text added as separate content elements and positioned horizontally, icon on the left and text on the right.

Bug Fixes

One of the benefits of the minor releases on a regular basis is that you constantly receive bug fixes. Below you can see the list of some bugs that we fixed in this release. We do not add all bug fixes, but only the most important ones, since there are many technical fixes, minor design fixes or performance-related fixes that we do not add to the release notes.

  1. Fixed issue with progress indicator and status of the item categories import process in Sana Admin.
  2. Fixed issue with translating product list pages after migrating to Sana Commerce Cloud from an earlier Sana version caused by the background image.
  3. Fixed issue with running scheduled tasks when mocked operations are used.
  4. Fixed issue with dragging and dropping subitems in the navigation when there are a lot of them.
  5. Fixed issue with link selector component in Sana Admin.
  6. Fixed issue with adding minimum height when content element is installed and added to the page from a new content element explorer.
  7. Fixed issue with inline text editing using in-site editor.
  8. Fixed in-site editor performance issues.
  9. Fixed issue with saving changes in the URLs of the translated pages.
  10. Fixed issue with showing empty page message instead of the default text when a user changes some UI text using the in-site editor and then removes it.
  11. Fixed issue with sending an email to a webstore administrator if a payment status of a transaction cannot be updated in ERP during specified number of days.
  12. Fixed issue with date fields from ERP in customer segments to show/hide specific content in the webstore.
  13. Fixed issue with showing translated texts in the webstore retrieved from ERP, for example translations of the facetted filters or product specifications.
