Transport Requests
WATCH THE VIDEO
Keeping changes in alignment between different systems is one of the most challenging aspects of having a system landscape with several systems in it. Transport requests in SAP can help with this task. Transport requests are used to record changes and move them across systems.
For example, typically a lot of changes are constantly made in the development environment and moving these changes one by one to the QA environment can be hard and time consuming, thus using the transport requests in SAP you can easily move all the changes at once.
Create a Transport Request
There are several tables in SAP for which you can create a transport request and transfer the changes to the necessary environment:
-
Webstore Configuration
To create the transport request, open the necessary table and click the Transport button on the Toolbar and create a request.
If you need to transfer the changes from several tables at once, use the transaction /n/sanaecom/transport. In the Sana configuration transport manager window, select the tables from which the changes should be transferred and click the Transport button. You can move the changes from each webstore separately.
To see from which tables the changes have been recently transferred, use the transaction code SE10. In the Transport Organizer window, click Display.
