Shipment Tracking
You can add more value to the shipping methods functionality. Give your customers the benefit of tracking their orders at real time directly from the Sana webstore.
The customers just need to click on the tracking number from the order details or posted shipment in the webstore to check delivery status of their package directly on the shipping carrier website.
Sana Commerce Cloud allows tracking orders not only via shipping providers, but also using locations.
Allow Customers Tracking Their Orders
Step 1: Configure shipping providers and methods in the ERP system. Enter the URL of the tracking website for each shipping provider you are configuring.
The tracking number will be displayed as a clickable link in the Sana webstore only if the URL of the shipping provider tracking service is valid in ERP.

Step 2: If you are using shipping methods for tracking, then map shipping methods in Sana Admin to the shipping methods in the ERP system. This can be done in the External shipping method field.
For more information about how to configure shipping methods in Sana Admin, see Shipping Methods.
If you are using locations for tracking, map shipping methods from the ERP system to the locations in Sana Admin. This can be done in the External shipping method field.
For more information, see Locations.
Step 3: To show a tracking number to a customer on the order details or posted shipment page in the webstore, it must be available in your ERP system. Not all ERP systems support package tracking.
