Buyer Widgets
The Buyer widgets are designed to give buyers a clear, convenient overview of their financial information directly in the Sana webstore. They help sellers strengthen relationships with buyers by making account data transparent, accessible, and easy to understand. With instant visibility into key details like credit limits, open invoices, and pending refunds, buyers gain confidence in every transaction – and sellers build trust at each step of the buying journey.
By bringing essential financial information together in one place, the widgets reduce uncertainty and eliminate the need for calls or follow-up e-mails. Buyers can check their available credit, review unpaid invoices, and track the status of their pending refunds at any time. Sellers can personalize the page layout by adding, removing, or rearranging widgets to focus buyers' attention on what matters most to them. They can also decide which widgets are available for each customer segment, ensuring that every customer sees only the information that is relevant to them.
When buyers feel informed and in control, they return to the Sana webstore more often – creating a positive cycle of engagement. The widgets turn routine financial checks into opportunities to build loyalty, support self-service, and encourage repeat business.

Available Buyer Widgets
Sana Commerce Cloud provides the following buyer widgets:
Each widget is available as a content element that you can add to any page of the Sana webstore. These content elements are not shown by default. Therefore, webstore administrators need to add them manually. The most logical and common place is the My Account page, or you can also create a dedicated financial overview page if needed.
Buyers see their widget data only after logging in to the Sana webstore. Sales agents can view widget information as well, but only for the customers they currently represent.
All financial data displayed in the widgets comes from the ERP system. The widgets simply display this ERP data in a clear, easy-to-read format inside the Sana webstore.
Why Some Data May Not Be Shown
Some information may not appear in a widget for the following reasons:
-
Insufficient permissions: The webstore administrator must enable offline data collection & usage on the Consent management page in Sana Admin to see all data and metrics at full capacity. This permission is necessary to display data in the following widgets in the Sana webstore:
- Open invoices
- Pending refunds
These widgets help buyers manage their financial interactions with your business more easily, improving their self-service experience.
-
Data is not available: Certain financial or other data has not yet been accumulated.
-
ERP connection issues: There is no connection between Sana Commerce Cloud and the ERP system. For example, the data in the Credit limits widget will not be shown until the ERP connection is reestablished.
-
System errors: A configuration or technical issue may be preventing the widget from displaying data. These cases need to be troubleshooted and fixed.
