Pre-Order

Imagine that your most popular product is currently not in stock and you have customers checking your webstore from time to time in hopes that the product is available again. This situation can be easily avoided with our brand-new pre-order feature. Now you can allow your customers to reserve products before they are available. In this way, customers will be absolutely sure that the desired purchase will reach them once it is back in stock. Pre-order can be very beneficial for you as the store owner as well. With pre-order you can reduce financial risk and it can help you to better understand the demand for specific types of products.

Pre-order feature can be also very useful in case you are planning to sell a new product in your webstore. This is a great way to promote your brand and draw attention to your new product before it’s released.

Form Elements

The importance of having beautiful, well-designed forms in your webstore cannot be underestimated. A well-done form can provide a better experience for your customers, can help to acquire a strong connection with them and build trust to your brand.

In the Sana webstore there are a lot of different forms, for example customer profile, shipping address, registration form, prospect and guest details, contact us form. We are happy to present you a possibility to create different design of different form elements. Sana Commerce Cloud is flexible in setting up form elements the way you need – you can customize the style of your webstore forms that will definitely match your brand’s personality.

Sana Admin Dashboard Improvements

In the previous release 1.60, we improved the Sana Admin Dashboard with the Links widget functionality. Links widgets are used to add links to the pages in Sana Admin which are most frequently used, as well as links to the external websites you often visit. We keep improving the Sana Admin Dashboard and this time we added Text widget.

Users can now create their own text widgets filling them in with the most important data. Text widgets are used to write texts, labels, some instructions, reminders, display a simple plain text message and other useful information.

Also, we have improved the Updatable add-ons widget. This widget shows a list of add-ons for which a new version is available. Now we added the Update all button which is very useful if you need to update all add-ons to the latest version at once.

Blog Improvements

We have improved the Blog overview content element. Previously, you could define the position of the list and grid view mode switch and the position of paging. Now we have added the possibility to show or hide the blog elements in the grid view mode and put them in the order you need.

Custom Stock Texts Improvements

We made a small improvement of the custom stock texts. Now you can change stock presentation not only for B2C and B2B customers, but also for sales agents.

Bug Fixes

One of the benefits of the minor releases on a regular basis is that you constantly receive bug fixes. Below you can see the list of some bugs that we fixed in this release. We do not add all bug fixes, but only the most important ones, since there are many technical fixes, minor design fixes, or performance-related fixes that we do not add to the release notes.

1. Fixed an issue with Sana Admin not working when the incorrect Web Service URL is entered in the ERP connection settings.
2. Fixed an issue with displaying full Web Service URL in the ERP connection settings.
3. Fixed an issue with not showing the floating Add to cart button on the product list pages when sticky header is used.
4. Fixed an issue with the new product images from ERP not showing in the webstore until site cache is cleared.
5. Fixed an issue which prevented removing product variants from the list on the product details page.
