Configure Service Layer
Applies to: SAP Business One with Service Layer
There are several features in SAP Business One that require Service Layer configuration:
- Web Store Catalog Overview
- Customer Overview
- Customer Assortment
- Web Store Filters
- Data Validation Rules
If you do not configure Service Layer, the above-mentioned features will not work.
Step 1: Run SAP Business One Cloud as a Windows administrator and go to: Web Store > Setup > Services > Configure Service Layer.
Step 2: Configure Service Layer, if it is not configured yet.
Field | Description |

Service Layer URL | Enter SAP Business One Service Layer URL. You must request it from your SAP Business One implementation partner or the person responsible for setting up your SAP Business One system. |
Company User Name | Enter the credentials of the dedicated database user that is used to log in to the SAP company the Sana add-on is assigned to. This must be a super user with an Indirect Access user or professional license in SAP Business One. |
Company Password |
Step 3: Click Test Connection to check Service Layer configuration. If connection is successful, save your changes.
Step 4: Click Download Metadata. You must download the metadata files to the location where the Sana add-on is installed.
Starting from Sana Commerce Cloud 1.0.51 in SAP Business One, you no longer need to download metadata and the button is not available.
