Configure Service Layer

NOTE

Applies to: SAP Business One with Service Layer

There are several features in SAP Business One that require Service Layer configuration:

If you do not configure Service Layer, the above-mentioned features will not work.

Step 1: Run SAP Business One Cloud as a Windows administrator and go to: Web Store > Setup > Services > Configure Service Layer.

Step 2: Configure Service Layer, if it is not configured yet.

Field Description
Service Layer URL Enter SAP Business One Service Layer URL. You must request it from your SAP Business One implementation partner or the person responsible for setting up your SAP Business One system.
Company User Name Enter the credentials of the dedicated database user that is used to log in to the SAP company the Sana add-on is assigned to. This must be a super user with an Indirect Access user or professional license in SAP Business One.
Company Password

Step 3: Click Test Connection to check Service Layer configuration. If connection is successful, save your changes.

Step 4: Click Download Metadata. You must download the metadata files to the location where the Sana add-on is installed.

NOTE

Starting from Sana Commerce Cloud 1.0.51 in SAP Business One, you no longer need to download metadata and the button is not available.
