New Scheduled Tasks: Shop Accounts Indexing and Newsletter Subscriptions Indexing

In this release, we introduce 2 new scheduled tasks in Sana Admin:

The Newsletter subscriptions indexing scheduled task allows webstore administrators to efficiently search, filter, and sort newsletter subscriptions in Sana Admin. When customers subscribe to a newsletter in the Sana webstore, their subscriptions are not automatically indexed. Instead, newsletters appear on the Newsletter subscriptions page in Sana Admin, only after the Newsletter subscriptions indexing scheduled task has been run, and the index has been updated. You also need to run this task to update the newsletter subscription data, such as whether customers' subscriptions are active or if they have unsubscribed.

The Shop accounts indexing scheduled task allows webstore administrators to efficiently search, filter, and sort shop accounts in Sana Admin. New shop accounts registered online in the Sana webstore or created directly in Sana Admin are automatically indexed in real-time, ensuring they are immediately available for shop accounts management and search operations.

Bug Fixes

One of the benefits of the minor releases on a regular basis is that you constantly receive bug fixes. Below you can see the list of some bugs that we fixed in this release. We do not add all bug fixes, but only the most important ones, since there are many technical fixes, minor design fixes, or performance-related fixes that we do not add to the release notes.

  1. Fixed an issue with the shop accounts not showing on the Shop accounts page in Sana Admin on the created webstore.
  2. Fixed an issue with the single sign-on shop accounts. When a customer logs in to the webstore using single sign-on and the email of this customer consists of more than 50 characters, the shop account of this customer is not available on the Shop accounts page in Sana Admin after login.
  3. Fixed an issue with the barcode scanning where the shopping cart is recalculated each time a product is scanned by the barcode scanner.
  4. Fixed an issue with the floating Add to cart button always showing on the product group pages in the mobile layout.
  5. Fixed an issue with the checkout header fields disappearing from the shopping cart when the Sana discount is applied.
  6. Fixed an issue with the shopping cart upload which was not working.
  7. Fixed an issue with the incorrect search suggestions in Sana Admin.
  8. Fixed an issue with the General information import task, which was failing due to empty variant components in the ERP system.
  9. Fixed an issue with the webstore search. When a user enters a product ID in the webstore search and there is an exact match on product ID and there are some content pages which match the search query, after triggering the search a user is redirected to the product details page instead of the search results page.
  10. Fixed an issue with the invoice payments. It is impossible to pay invoices that are not linked to the orders.
  11. Fixed an issue where some exported CSV files contain duplicated data.
  12. Fixed an issue with the error showing in the shopping cart when for the Date picker drop-downs checkout header field which is used in the shopping cart the option Forbid past dates is enabled.
