What’s New?
Search: Product Category
We are constantly working on making the shopping experience for your webstore visitors smoother and more enjoyable. In this release, we expanded the capabilities of the webstore search. Previously, our search allowed to look up products and content. Now, webstore visitors can search product categories as well. Category search is conducted using product list pages. This improvement aims to help webstore visitors discover products more quickly and efficiently by allowing them to filter results based on categories. This feature enables customers to explore products more broadly, making it easier for them to find what they need even if they don't know the exact item they are looking for, without having to navigate through specific product categories. We believe this update will make browsing your webstore more intuitive and will streamline the webstore visitors shopping experience.
To allow webstore visitors to use the category search, you need to enable the Category search option and run the Categories indexing scheduled task.
When the category search is enabled, a new section called Categories will be shown in the search suggestions, on condition that there are product list pages that match the entered search query.
Sana Admin Users: UI Improvements
In this release, we introduce an update aimed at enhancing the organization of settings for Sana Admin internal users.
Previously, all Sana Admin user profile information was grouped on a single page.
To make it easier for webstore administrators and other Sana Admin user manage their accounts, we have now separated this information into tabs:
-
Account details: Contains all essential Sana Admin user information, like name, e-mail, and user role.
-
Login & security: Displays a list of all verified devices associated with the Sana Admin user.
Security Improvements
To modify sensitive data for Sana Admin users, such as e-mail addresses and passwords, as well as to create or delete users and import shop accounts, users must confirm these changes by entering their passwords. Additionally, several technical security updates have been made.
