What’s New?

Standard Button Content Element

There is a Button content element add-on. It is used to add a button to any page of the Sana webstore with a linked internal page or external URL.

This Sana Commerce Cloud release brings another Button content element not as an add-on, but as a standard element. Currently, it works the same as the add-on, but in future releases, it will be extended with additional settings and will be more functional than the add-on.

The Button add-on remains in the product for now, as it can be used in various Sana projects.

OData V4 ERP Connection Types for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

NOTE

This is preparation for the release of a new ERP connection type OData V4 for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, but not its full support. The OData V4 connection type has been added to Sana Commerce Cloud and is available in Sana Admin, but you cannot use it yet. The OData V4 connection type will become functional when we release a new version of the Sana Commerce Cloud extension for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central that contains support for the OData V4 connection type.

In Sana Admin there is a new ERP connection type OData for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with two different protocols for authorization – OAuth and Basic.

The Open Data Protocol (OData) is a web protocol that provides you with an alternative to SOAP-based web services that are currently used by Sana Commerce Cloud to integrate with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. It is recommended by Microsoft as it brings a new level of data integration and leads to performance improvements.

If you are interested in the OData connection type, keep an eye out for a new Sana Commerce Cloud extension for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central that supports it.

Bug Fixes

One of the benefits of the minor releases on a regular basis is that you constantly receive bug fixes. Below you can see the list of some bugs that we fixed in this release. We do not add all bug fixes, but only the most important ones, since there are many technical fixes, minor design fixes, or performance-related fixes that we do not add to the release notes.

  1. Fixed issue with saving the Image and Search bar content elements if corner radius or border width values have been configured.
  2. Fixed issue with converting a quote to an order placed in the maintenance mode by a sales agent on behalf of a prospect.
