What’s New?

Basket Management

There is a new page in Sana Admin called Basket management. It can be mainly used by customer service representatives to remove a broken basket of a customer.

For example, the customer added several items to the basket, but didn't complete the order. After some time the customer wants to complete the order, but something has changed, for example the webstore administrator has changed something in ERP that has affected basket calculation for this customer, and the basket cannot be calculated and has to be cleared. If the customer cannot do this directly in the webstore for some reason, the service representative can find the necessary (broken) basket in Sana Admin and remove it so that the customer can continue shopping.

The list of all baskets of all customers and anonymous webstore visitors is shown on the Basket management page in Sana Admin. Therefore, you can also use this page to remove some old baskets. Keeping old baskets leads to accumulation of unnecessary data.

Product Pages Performance Improvements

In this Sana Commerce Cloud release, we made some technical optimizations in Sana to improve performance of the product details and product list pages related to retrieving prices and inventory from ERP.

NOTE

This change affects Sana for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. If your Sana Commerce Cloud has been updated to 1.0.29 or higher and you use multiple units of measure for products in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, you must update your Sana Commerce Cloud extension in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to 10.0.30 or higher. Otherwise, you may encounter the problem that prices for certain products in the Sana webstore will not be shown.

Bug Fixes

One of the benefits of the minor releases on a regular basis is that you constantly receive bug fixes. Below you can see the list of some bugs that we fixed in this release. We do not add all bug fixes, but only the most important ones, since there are many technical fixes, minor design fixes, or performance-related fixes that we do not add to the release notes.

  1. Fixed issue with sending credit limit during customer registration if necessary.
  2. Fixed issue with showing tablet / mobile header logo from a theme when the webstore is in the limited access mode.
  3. Fixed issue with showing “The requested page cannot be found” message when a user filters the products on the product list page using the facetted filters that have diaeresis / umlaut (e.g. Ä) in the filter category or value, then opens some product details page and tries to return to the product list page.
  4. Fixed issue with sending the order payment email when the order is placed by a guest in the maintenance mode with the “Street number” field in the guest profile.
  5. Fixed issue with the “General information import” task failure because of the variant components.
  6. Fixed a few issues with guest checkout, for example guest account synchronization with ERP when guest places an order in the maintenance mode.
