In Sana Admin click: Setup > Basics > Store information.

Your webstore comes with store information, like name and phone number, that is also used in different system e-mails, for example order confirmation.

In Sana Admin you can fill in your store information in one single place and it will be used by all system e-mails automatically.

Using store information settings, you create your webstore profile. This is how you can give your store a real identity.

The table below provides the description of the fields and settings on the Store information page.

Field

Description

Store name

Enter the name of your webstore. It is shown in the web browser on the tab of the opened webstore and in the copyright at the bottom of the page. The store name is also used in the system e-mails. In the system e-mails like Change password, Forgot password, Order confirmation and Tell a friend, the variable [SHOPNAME] will be automatically replaced with the name from the Store name field.

For more information about e-mail templates, see E-mail Templates.

Store phone number

Enter the phone number of your webstore. It is shown at the top of the webstore and is used in the system e-mails. In the system e-mails like Order confirmation and Contact us, the variable [SHOPPHONE] will be automatically replaced with the number from the Store phone number field.

For more information about e-mail templates, see E-mail Templates.

Access mode

Select the access mode for your webstore.

There are 2 access modes:

  • Production – it makes your Sana webstore accessible to all your customers and webstore visitors. The webstore is also indexed by search engines. Any user can open the webstore without any limitations.

  • Limited – it blocks access to the webstore to external users. The webstore is also not indexed by search engines. Any user who tries to open the webstore by URL will see a page with the message that the webstore is temporary unavailable.

For more information, see Webstore Access Mode.

Store type

Select the type of your webstore:

  • Closed store - this type of webstore is closed and thus is not publicly accessible. This is a typical B2B scenario. When a customer visits the webstore, only Login and Forgot password pages are available. Customers can see the webstore catalog after they log in. In the closed store, the existing customers from your ERP system are connected to the shop accounts in Sana Admin. Sales agents can place orders on behalf of their customers as well as create prospect customers.

For more information about how to create accounts for the customers, contacts and sales agents, see Shop Accounts.

  • Private store - this type of webstore is partially closed. It can be used in a B2B scenario and for the mixed B2X webstores when you serve both customer types, B2B and B2C. This means that only navigation, content pages, FAQ, News and Contact us pages are available to the customers when they visit the webstore. Customers can see the webstore catalog only after they log in.

If you have product sets on some content pages, customers can see all content of the page in the webstore, except for products. Customers can see products on the content pages once they log in to the webstore.

  • Public store - this type of webstore is opened and thus is publicly accessible. This is a typical B2C scenario. This means that anonymous webstore visitors can see the webstore catalog and all content. In the public store any webstore visitor can register online as a customer or create an order as a guest without registration, if it is enabled in Sana.
