Apple Pay
Compatibility: Sana Commerce Cloud 1.0.26 and higher
Apple Pay is only available on the Apple devices and Safari browser. That's why we don't recommend using only Apple Pay, it's better to use other payment methods as well.
Apple Pay provides a secure and seamless payment method that shoppers can use to pay their orders. When the shopper places an order in the Sana webstore and selects Apple Pay, the Drop-in integration type invokes the payment sheet, where shoppers select the card they want to use and then authenticate the payment through Face ID or Touch ID.
Go Live with Apple Pay
To allow your shoppers to pay for their orders using Apple Pay:
Step 1: Contact your Sana Commerce representative and ask them to configure Apple Pay for you if you didn't do so during the onboarding process when applying for the Sana Pay live account.
You will be asked for:
- Shop website: Your webstore URL, for example https://www.mystore.com.
- Additional shop websites: Optional. You can add any other webstore domains you have, for example https://www.mystore1.com, or https://www.mystore2.com.
Step 2: Create the Apple Pay payment method in Sana Admin.
