The table below provides the description of the PayPal Checkout payment provider specific fields.

Fields

Description

Landing page

Select the landing page:

  • LOGIN: When customers go through the checkout process in the Sana webstore and click on the Pay button, they will be redirected to the PayPal login page to pay the order.

  • BILLING: When customers go through the checkout process in the Sana webstore and click on the Pay button, they will be redirected to the page where customers must enter the credit or debit card number and other required billing information to pay the order.

Send purchase details

If you enable this option, information about the products purchased by the customer will be sent to PayPal. A merchant can see this product information in the PayPal portal.

NOTE

The product details are sent to PayPal only if your customers pay full order amount online. If your customers pay based on prepayment rules, product details will not be sent to PayPal.

Amount round option

Select the appropriate amount rounding option to round prices up or down. Amounts are rounded depending on the decimals supported by a currency. Please, check this article where in the Active codes table you can find information about the number of digits after the decimal separator supported by each currency.

  • ROUND: Amounts are rounded up or down depending on the value. For example, 1.234 is rounded to 1.23, 1.235 is rounded to 1.24.

  • UP: Amounts are always rounded up. For example, 1.234 is rounded to 1.24.

  • DOWN: Amounts are always rounded down. For example, 1.236 is rounded to 1.23.

NOTE

There can be a difference in the final order amount shown in the Sana webstore and in the PayPal dashboard due to amount rounding. For example, the amount is 5.293 and the rounding option is set to UP. It is possible that the customer will see 5.29 in the webstore, and the seller will see 5.30 in the PayPal dashboard.

Test the payment flow to see if everything works fine using the created payment methods and the correct payment statuses.

When everything is done and tested, keep an eye on the payment log in the following days to be sure that everything is configured correctly.
