What’s New in Sana for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations

Release date: December 23, 2025
Sana ERP Connector Version: 10.0.135

Not all releases include numerous new features, but we continually make technical improvements to enhance the Sana ERP Connector’s performance, reliability, and scalability. These efforts support a stable, secure, and scalable platform for growth. Below you can see some of the improvements included in this release.

What's New

Sana ERP Connector Support for Multiple Versions of Dynamics 365

Previously, the Sana ERP Connector was released exclusively for the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. Going forward, we have expanded support to include three most recent versions of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. For the latest version, we will provide both the Sana deployable package and model, while for the two previous versions, only the Sana deployable package will be available.

This change in the way we release our Sana ERP Connector ensures that customers who have not yet upgraded to the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations can still use the most recent version of the Sana ERP Connector, reducing potential compatibility issues and providing a smoother upgrade path for businesses.

Dedicated Number Sequence for Online Customer Accounts

Sana Commerce Cloud now supports using a dedicated number sequence in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations for customers who register online through the Sana webstore. Previously, number sequences were used only for sales orders, quotations, and guest accounts. With this enhancement, newly created webstore customers can also receive unique identifiers generated from a specific number sequence, providing clearer organization and improved control over customer records in your ERP.

Default Visibility for Attachments

Sana Commerce Cloud now includes a new Attachments visible by default setting in the webstore parameters for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. When enabled, all newly added attachments, such as product or sales document attachments, are automatically marked as visible in the Sana webstore. This removes the need to manually enable visibility for each attachment, saving time and streamlining data management.

Address Book Now Copied from Customer Template During Registration

When a customer registers online in the Sana webstore, a new customer is created in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations based on the country-specific customer template. With this release, Sana Commerce Cloud also copies the address book from the customer template to the newly created customer. Previously, the address book remained empty for newly registered customers.

This enhancement helps ensure that customers inherit the correct address book configuration during registration, which can support organizations that use address books to manage team-based data visibility.

Archive with Dataverse Long-Term Retention: Support for Sana Data Archiving and Restoration

Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations has a feature that allows archiving and long-term retention of data. In this release, we have improved the Archive with Dataverse Long-Term Retention feature to ensure that Sana Commerce Cloud data is fully supported during archiving and restoration. Previously, Sana-related data, such as changes to sales orders, products, and customer records, was not included in the archiving process. With this update, the Sana Commerce Cloud fields and values are now properly archived and restored, maintaining data consistency and integrity across your system.

Other Changes

Improved the performance of mix and match discounts in Sana Commerce Cloud for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, ensuring faster and more efficient calculations when applying these discounts.

Bug Fixes

Below you will find a list of key bugs fixed in this release. We have not included every bug fix, focusing instead on the most critical ones.
