What’s New in Sana for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Release date: September 30, 2026
Sana ERP Connector Version: 10.0.155
Not all releases include numerous new features, but we continually make technical improvements to enhance the Sana ERP Connector’s performance, reliability, and scalability. These efforts support a stable, secure, and scalable platform for growth. Below you can see some of the improvements included in this release.
What's New
Extended Logging Functionality
Previously, enabling logging recorded every request and response between Sana Commerce Cloud and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with all webshops in a multi-shop solution logged together and no clear distinction between them. Over time, this could accumulate large volumes of unnecessary log data, taking up storage space and impacting performance − especially if logging was left on longer than intended.
ERP logging is now more targeted:
-
Logs are recorded per webshop and can be viewed across all webshops or filtered to a specific one.
-
Logging can be enabled only for the API methods you need, for example, just the CalculateBasket method.
-
You can choose to log requests only, responses only, or both.
Together, these changes make it easier to log exactly what you need for troubleshooting, without the storage and performance overhead of capturing everything by default.
Optimized Transaction Handling and Deadlock Prevention for Basket Calculations
With large baskets, Sana Commerce Cloud may perform similar basket calculations across multiple sessions at the same time. If a transaction from one session locks a set of data, a second transaction referencing that same data has to wait, and previously, this could end in a deadlock error. Large transactions are now split into multiple smaller commits, allowing other transactions to run in between and reducing the risk of deadlocks.
Bug Fixes
Below is a list of key bugs fixed in this release. We have not included every bug fix, focusing instead on the most critical ones.
-
Fixed an issue where the Last Date/Time Modified value was rounded to the nearest minute in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, which could prevent recently modified items from being picked up during product indexing. This rounding was originally introduced to work around filtering limitations on seconds in older Microsoft Dynamics NAV versions, such as NAV 2009. Since second-level filtering works correctly on newer Microsoft Dynamics NAV versions and in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, the rounding has been removed.
-
Fixed an issue where opening the Permissions Overview page in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central showed an error.
-
Fixed an issue where the Sana Commerce Startup Wizard showed a data validation error during new installations.
