Inventory Precision

Improved inventory precision ensures that products can only be ordered in complete units. Suppose the available stock is insufficient to fulfill a full unit, for example, only 8 pieces are available when a box contains 10 pieces. In that case, the system will prevent partial orders, avoiding fractional quantities like 1.5 boxes. This change enhances stock reliability and prevents fulfillment issues.

Microsoft Dynamics AX uses the unit of measure rounding values provided by Sana Commerce Cloud to round down the available inventory, ensuring that only complete units can be ordered.

Previously, these settings only applied to the quantity input field and did not affect how stock was displayed on various pages. Now, everything is consistent.

Inventory is now displayed consistently across product pages, the shopping cart, and checkout, including the estimated availability dates. This ensures customers see accurate stock information at every step, reducing order errors and improving the buying experience.

Other Changes

Not all releases include numerous new features, but we continually make technical improvements to enhance the Sana ERP Connector's performance and reliability. These efforts support a stable, secure, and scalable platform for growth. Below you can see some of the improvements included in this release.

  • Avalara AvaTax: We have released a new Sana extension for Avalara AvaTax with improved performance.

  • Updated manual process request templates: We have updated the templates that are available in the Manual process requests form for debugging and troubleshooting. Some of the request templates were outdated or missing.

Bug Fixes

Below you will find a list of key bugs fixed in this release. We have not included every bug fix, focusing instead on the most critical ones.

  1. Fixed an issue where the wrong exceeded credit limit amount was shown in the shopping cart when the customer edited the order.

  2. Fixed an issue where the notes were not displayed in the free text invoice reports.

  3. Fixed an issue with certain checkout header fields added to the shopping cart, which were causing an error during basket calculation.

  4. Fixed multiple issues when the negative price could be shown in the shopping cart, particularly when multiline discounts and gift cards or multiline and mix & match discounts were applied.

  5. Fixed an issue where the basket calculation used a sales category instead of a product when the sales category name matched the product ID.
