What’s New?

Shipping Address Extra Fields

NOTE

The ERP changes necessary for the work of the shipping address extra fields have been implemented in the version released on December 27, 2023.

We have extended customer shipping addresses by returning more fields from the ERP system to Sana Commerce Cloud. Previously, the ERP system returned a fixed set of shipping address fields to Sana Commerce Cloud. When you set up different shipping address fields in Sana Admin, all these fields are now returned to Sana Commerce Cloud and can be seen by the customer in the webstore, for example in the address book.

Webstore Search Stop Words

Starting from this release the stop words are excluded from the search results. Stop words are commonly used words, like articles, prepositions, pronouns, conjunctions. Stop words may be ignored in search queries and search results since they do not add significant value to a search. By ignoring stop words, the search engine can focus on more meaningful, relevant words. This allows to speed up and provide more precise search results.

Sana supports stop words for the following languages:

  • Arabic

  • Danish

  • Dutch

  • English

  • Estonian

  • Finnish

  • French

  • German

  • Greek

  • Hungarian

  • Indonesian

  • Italian

  • Norwegian

  • Polish

  • Portuguese

  • Spanish

  • Swedish

  • Turkish

Other Changes

  • Added price per base unit of measure to the last viewed products, product comparison, and shopping cart offers.

  • Added the ability to select a product variant and unit of measure when adding a product to the list from the product details page where product variants are displayed in the matrix.

  • Improved several messages in the Sana webstore, such as the minimum order value and the subscription amount (recurring order).

  • Added the ability to edit a shopping cart that has been transferred from the Sana webstore to the e-procurement system using punchout. Buyers who want to edit the shopping cart are redirected from the e-procurement system back to the Sana webstore, where they can make the necessary changes and transfer the shopping cart from Sana to their e-procurement system again. These changes are supported starting from Sana Commerce Cloud 1.87 and the InstaPunchout add-on 1.1.0.

  • Implemented style changes to enhance readability of the code in the text boxes of the HTML injections and debug ERP requests. In particular, we changed the text font and added line numbering.

Bug Fixes

One of the benefits of the minor releases on a regular basis is that you constantly receive bug fixes. Below you can see the list of some bugs that we fixed in this release. We do not add all bug fixes, but only the most important ones, since there are many technical fixes, minor design fixes, or performance-related fixes that we do not add to the release notes.

  1. Fixed an issue with the missing validation on the Create synonym group page when a user enters a term which consists of more than 200 characters.
  2. Fixed an issue with the invisible products which are searchable in the webstore.
  3. Fixed an issue with the Blog categories and Blog tags fields on the Blog article page. When a user enters the name of a new category or tag and quickly presses Enter, a category or a tag is created with only first letter in the name.
  4. Fixed an issue with the wrong color applying to the language name in the Language selector content element in the webstore header.
  5. Fixed an issue with the extra fields configured in the ERP system not returning for orders, invoices, shipments and credit notes to Punchout.
  6. Fixed an issue with the back link not showing on the product details page of a product from the product group.
  7. Fixed an issue with the unit of measure selector on the List details and product list pages. When an unavailable unit of measure is selected, the unit of measure selector is not shown, making it impossible to select any other available unit of measure.
  8. Fixed an issue with the incorrect pagination on the Dynamic redirects page.
