What’s New?

In-Site Editor Integrated With the Sana’s Content Management System

We decided to make it easier for you and simplify the process of changing the default texts of the Sana webstore user interface. The in-site editor is now integrated with the Sana’s content management system. It means that you can edit the standard texts of the Sana user interface directly on the pages in Sana Admin using the in-site editor.

Hide Shipping Methods for Specific Items

In this release, we have extended the settings for shipping methods. You can now assign a product set to a shipping method if you want to make it unavailable for certain products. If there is at least one product in the shopping cart from the selected product set, the shipping method will not be shown at the checkout. This can be useful if you are selling products that you know for sure cannot be delivered by a certain method or delivery service.

Create Customer Segments Based on the Delivery Method and Location Data

We keep extending customer segments and in this release we added the possibility to create customer segments based on the delivery method, either shipping address or location, and based on the location data.

Location Data Improvement in the Shopping Cart Summary

We fixed the link and changed the texts which are related to the location details in the shopping cart summary in the checkout, since previously they might seem a bit confusing to the users. Thus, now when a user selects the Collect the order from store option on the Shipping information step in the multi step checkout and moves to the Collection location step, then the Shipping type section will be available in the shopping cart summary. Previously, this section was called Collection location. Using the link in the Shipping type section a user can go back to the Shipping information step.

If the one step checkout is used, there will be no link in the Shipping type section.

Bug Fixes

One of the benefits of the minor releases on a regular basis is that you constantly receive bug fixes. Below you can see the list of some bugs that we fixed in this release. We do not add all bug fixes, but only the most important ones, since there are many technical fixes, minor design fixes, or performance-related fixes that we do not add to the release notes.
