Not every release comes with new features, but we're always working behind the scenes to improve Sana Commerce Cloud. From boosting performance and reliability to fixing bugs and refining the user experience, each update helps make Sana Commerce Cloud better. We also include essential security updates to keep your data and our system safe. All of these improvements lay the groundwork for a stable, secure, and scalable platform. At the same time, we are working on new functionality that will be included in future releases.

What’s New?

Google Analytics: Recognize Sales Document Types

You can now distinguish between different sales document types in Google Analytics 4, such as orders, quotes, and invoice payments.

Previously, these different processes could be reported as the same transaction type, making it difficult to analyze their performance separately. With this improvement, the sales document type is sent to Google Analytics 4 as the document_type parameter, allowing you to distinguish and filter transactions by sales document type in your reports.

This provides more accurate analytics and clearer insights into the performance of individual customer flows, helping you make more informed decisions when optimizing your webstore for conversions.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixes an issue where the Country field incorrectly remained valid when set to the empty option on the Shipping information checkout step, when the Deliver order to a different address option is selected.
  • Fixed an issue where a previously applied filter remained active after navigating to a different product group page, instead of resetting.
  • Fixed an issue where the Shipments history page displayed duplicate entries for shipments containing lines from multiple sales orders, even though the ERP response returned the correct shipments.
  • Fixed an issue where a content element remained selected in the new visual designer after clicking elsewhere on the canvas, outside of the element.
  • Fixed an issue in the new visual designer where clicking the Edit content button for a content element and clearing a required field allowed the changes to be saved instead of keeping the editor open and displaying the appropriate validation messages.
  • Fixed an issue where concurrent CalculateBasket calls during checkout could cause Microsoft Dynamics NAV locking conflicts and prevent the shopping cart from being calculated successfully.
