Sana Commerce Cloud 1.140
Learn about improvements and bug fixes in this release.
Not every release comes with new features, but we're always working behind the scenes to improve Sana Commerce Cloud. From boosting performance and reliability to fixing bugs and refining the user experience, each update helps make Sana Commerce Cloud better. We also include essential security updates to keep your data and our system safe. All of these improvements lay the groundwork for a stable, secure, and scalable platform. At the same time, we are working on new functionality that will be included in future releases.
Improvements
Subscriptions: Previously, there was a separate Disabled subscriptions feature toggle used to notify customers when their active subscriptions were paused by a webstore administrator. This option has now been removed.
Instead, when disabling subscriptions, webstore administrators will see a new checkbox in the confirmation pop-up. This checkbox allows them to send an email notification to customers, informing them that their active subscriptions will be paused.
Bug Fixes
One of the benefits of the minor releases on a regular basis is that you constantly receive bug fixes. Below you can see the list of some bugs that we fixed in this release. We do not add all bug fixes, but only the most important ones, since there are many technical fixes, minor design fixes, or performance-related fixes that we do not add to the release notes.
- Fixed an issue causing order failure when a sales agent placed an order on behalf of a prospect, while the Optimize for large orders strategy was in use.
- Fixed an issue where the service charge ID incorrectly appeared on the service line in the sales document details and order confirmation email, even though it should not have been shown.
- Fixed an issue where shop accounts restricted from viewing prices can still see the outstanding amount in the webstore.
- Fixed an issue where increasing the quantity of a product in the shopping cart beyond the remaining sales agreement quantity caused the line to split in two, resulting in an incorrect quantity display for the line without the agreement.
- Fixed an issue where the Google Analytics add_to_cart and remove_from_cart events were not triggered upon recalculation of the shopping cart.
- Fixed an issue causing the Product import task to fail when the product group title is not specified for products in the ERP system.
- Fixed an issue where the Tax exempt number field in the registration form is not validated against the ERP system’s format, allowing users to enter restricted characters.
- Fixed an issue where an error appears on the webstore homepage when the webstore domain is not configured in Usercentrics.
