Learn about improvements and bug fixes in this release.

Not every release comes with new features, but we're always working behind the scenes to improve Sana Commerce Cloud. From boosting performance and reliability to fixing bugs and refining the user experience, each update helps make Sana Commerce Cloud better. We also include essential security updates to keep your data and our system safe. All of these improvements lay the groundwork for a stable, secure, and scalable platform. At the same time, we are working on new functionality that will be included in future releases.

What’s New?

Enhanced Two-Factor Authentication with Enforced Setup for Sana Admin Users

We’ve enhanced two-factor authentication (2FA) by introducing enforced 2FA configuration for Sana Admin users and improving how 2FA settings are managed for both admin users and webstore customers.

Admin users

Previously, the Two-factor authentication with external app setting for admin users could only be enabled or disabled, and 2FA setup was always optional. With this release, the setting has been redesigned as a dropdown and now supports mandatory 2FA setup:

  • Disabled – Two-factor authentication (2FA) is turned off.

  • Enabled – optional to enable connection setup – Users can log in to Sana Admin without 2FA and choose to set it up at any time from their profile page. This option preserves the same behavior as the previous Enabled setting, where 2FA setup was optional.

  • Enabled – enforce to enable connection setup – Users are required to set up 2FA during login. Until the setup is completed, they cannot access Sana Admin.

This change allows administrators to enforce stronger security by requiring all admin users to configure two-factor authentication.

Webstore customers

For webstore customers, the Two-factor authentication with external app setting has been updated from a simple on/off option to a dropdown with the following values:

  • Enabled

  • Disabled

There are no functional changes for webstore customers, this update ensures consistency with the updated admin 2FA settings.

Improved Sorting for Grouped Products

We improved the sorting behavior for grouped products on product list and search results pages. Previously, when sorting by title, the system used the individual product title, which required the product group title to be filled in for all products within a group.

With this release, grouped products are now sorted based on the product group title retrieved from the ERP. This means it is enough to set the product group title only on the first product in the group for sorting to work correctly.

We are continuously improving the platform and will deliver new features and enhancements in future releases.

Bug Fixes

One of the benefits of the minor releases on a regular basis is that you constantly receive bug fixes. Below you can see the list of some bugs that we fixed in this release. We do not add all bug fixes, but only the most important ones, since there are many technical fixes, minor design fixes, or performance-related fixes that we do not add to the release notes.

  1. Fixed an issue where adding two product variants from different sales agreements that share the same sales agreement line IDs to the shopping cart caused one of the sales agreement lines not to be applied.
  2. Fixed an issue with estimated availability dates that causes the ERP configured availability date to fall back to the previous day after a product is added to the shopping cart in a negative browser timezone.
  3. Fixed an issue with guest checkout where, after completing the payment, users were redirected to the Login page instead of the Order confirmation page.
  4. Fixed an issue with an error occurring on the Configure Single Sign-On page in Sana Admin after saving changes.
  5. Fixed an issue where, after a customer selects invoices to pay, chooses a payment method, and clicks the Pay button in the webstore, the Pay button remains active instead of being disabled.
  6. Fixed an issue where empty fields are incorrectly treated as modified and included in the notification email when a customer saves account details in the webstore.
  7. Fixed an issue that allowed previously purchased products to be reordered using a unit of measure that is no longer available.
