What’s New?
Real-Time Stock Information: Product Availability Dates on Product Pages
In previous versions, product availability dates were shown only in the shopping cart and during checkout. With this Sana Commerce Cloud release, we are excited to announce that you can now display product availability dates directly on the product details and product list pages, in addition to the shopping cart and checkout.
Customers always see up-to-date product availability, ensuring a fast, transparent, and reliable shopping experience – from browsing product lists and product pages to reviewing their shopping cart and completing checkout. Product availability dates give customers a clear, up-to-date overview of product availability before placing orders, helping them make informed purchasing decisions. With Sana Commerce Cloud, you can display product availability dates in multiple areas of the webstore:
- Product details pages
- Product list pages (including search results and last viewed products)
- Shopping cart
- Checkout
To display product availability dates in the Sana webstore, the Estimated availability dates content element is used. It is available on product pages, product list pages, search results, the page with the last viewed products, and the shopping cart, and can also be repositioned as needed.
New SAP S/4HANA Connection Options
Previously, Sana Commerce Cloud did not have a dedicated connection for SAP S/4HANA and instead relied on the existing SAP ECC integration. With this release, Sana Commerce Cloud introduces two new connection types specifically for SAP S/4HANA:
-
SAP S/4HANA: This connection method uses the username and password of the SAP user to authenticate requests. Sana Commerce Cloud includes these credentials in each request to SAP S/4HANA, which then validates them to authorize access. While simple to configure, this method is considered less secure compared to OAuth.
-
SAP S/4HANA (OAuth): This option leverages the OAuth 2.0 protocol, providing a more secure and modern approach to authorization. Sana Commerce Cloud uses a client ID and secret to obtain a short-lived access token through a secure authorization flow. This token is included in each request, and SAP S/4HANA grants access based on its validity. This method enhances security by avoiding the need to transmit or store user credentials.
Bug Fixes
One of the benefits of the minor releases on a regular basis is that you constantly receive bug fixes. Below you can see the list of some bugs that we fixed in this release. We do not add all bug fixes, but only the most important ones, since there are many technical fixes, minor design fixes, or performance-related fixes that we do not add to the release notes.

- Fixed an issue with the missing field in the GetProducts template in Debug ERP request.
