Sana Commerce Cloud 1.0.11

This is a very small release of Sana Commerce Cloud with only one visible feature change. But almost every Sana Commerce Cloud release brings a lot of technical enhancements, minor user interface changes, performance and security improvements, and bug fixes which are barely or not at all visible in the user interface and thus are not documented in the release notes.

On March 10, 2021 we also released new versions of all our add-ons for Microsoft Dynamics and SAP ERP systems except for SAP ECC. For more information, see What’s New in Sana for Microsoft Dynamics and SAP.

Hero Image and Video

In Sana Commerce Cloud 1.0.5 we released the first version of the hero settings where you could add the hero image or video, but without the hero effect actually. You could not use the image or video as a full screen background for your webstore.

In Sana Commerce Cloud 1.0.11 we finalized this functionality and now you can use the image or video as a full screen background for your webstore.

If you use the full screen hero image/video, you can also add the alternative logo and change color of all texts in site header. The alternative logo and color of all header texts are used to adapt to your hero image/video background. For example, if your hero image/video is dark, you can use the alternative logo and header texts in white and vice versa.
