Subscription Notifications

Subscription notifications are essential messages that keep webstore customers and administrators informed about different updates. These notifications serve as a gentle reminder, informing customers about their upcoming subscription orders or other events. Notifying customers about the status of their subscriptions builds a sense of trust and reliability in the company's commitment to customer satisfaction. They also provide customers with the convenience of effectively managing their subscriptions, allowing them to make necessary adjustments or cancel orders according to their changing needs. Subscription notifications serve as a valuable tool for both – webstore customers and webstore administrators, fostering long-term customer loyalty and a dynamic, interactive relationship between them.

In Sana Admin click: Setup > Ordering. On the Subscriptions tab, you can configure what subscription notifications Sana Commerce Cloud should send to webstore customers and webstore administrators.

Sana Commerce Cloud uses system e-mails to send subscription notifications. For more information, see E-Mail Templates.

Sana Commerce Cloud sends an e-mail to customers informing them that a new subscription is created.

Sana Commerce Cloud sends a reminder e-mail to the customer the day before a new subscription order is created.

Paused subscription

Sana Commerce Cloud sends e-mails to notify customers when subscriptions are paused due to some reason, for example, unavailable products, prompting them to review their subscriptions and reactivate them.

Disabled subscriptions feature

Sana Commerce Cloud sends e-mails to customers with active subscriptions to notify them when the Subscriptions feature is disabled by the webstore administrator, pausing all active subscriptions for customers.

Skipped subscription order

Sana Commerce Cloud sends e-mails to notify customers when their subscription orders are skipped due to lack of confirmation.
