Pending Refunds

The Pending refunds widget gives customers an overview of refund requests based on ERP credit notes. It helps customers track outstanding reimbursements without the need to contact support or the finance team.

Adding the Widget

To add the Pending refunds widget to any page of the Sana webstore, use the Pending refunds content element in Sana Admin. There are no specific content element settings. On the Advanced tab, you can configure height, width, and spacing settings. For more information about advanced settings, see Content Elements.

What Customers See

The Pending refunds widget summarizes all credit notes from the last 12 months that are still pending. Customers can see:

  • Total amount of pending refunds based on credit notes in ERP
  • Number of pending refunds based on credit notes in ERP
  • Largest pending refund (shown when two or more credit notes are awaiting processing in ERP)

Also, there is a View all refunds link that opens the Credit notes history page, where customers can see the list of all credit notes and their details.

Sales agents can see refund information only for the represented customer. If a sales agent does not represent any customer, the widget displays a message indicating that no account is represented.

If there are no pending refunds, the widget displays the message informing customers that no pending refunds are available.

Data Availability

If the connection between Sana Commerce Cloud and ERP is temporarily unavailable and the webstore is in maintenance mode, customers will see the most recently available refund information. No real-time updates are shown until the ERP connection is reestablished. For more information, see Data Sources.

To ensure the Pending refunds widget works correctly in offline scenarios, the permission Enable offline data collection & usage must be enabled on the Consent management page in Sana Admin.
