Abandoned Baskets
The Abandoned Baskets page helps you identify where potential buyers drop off during the checkout process, so you can take action to recover lost sales and improve your conversion rates.
A basket is considered abandoned the next day after it was created and didn’t convert to an online order.
A basket will remain visible in this overview until it is either purchased or deleted by the customer. The page includes two tables:
-
A summary of basket trends over time.
-
A detailed breakdown of abandoned baskets and the specific products left behind.
By analyzing this data, you can better understand buyer hesitation, identify high-value lost opportunities, and proactively follow up with targeted marketing or sales outreach.
It’s your go-to view for uncovering where revenue is being left behind and taking the right steps to turn abandoned interest into complete orders.
How KPIs Are Defined
-
Abandoned Baskets Value: Total value inside all abandoned baskets. A basket is considered abandoned if it is not converted into an online order the next day after creation.
-
Number of Abandoned Baskets: Total number of baskets that meet the abandonment criteria over the selected period and filters. A basket is counted as abandoned on the day after it was created if no order was placed.
-
Average Abandoned Basket Value: Average monetary value of all abandoned baskets. Calculated as the total abandoned basket value divided by the number of abandoned baskets. A basket is only included if it was not converted into an order by the next day.
