Payment Notifications

Notifications are used to inform a webstore administrator or customer by e-mail about different payment processes that take place when customers pay for their orders through Sana Pay. Notifications are important for successful integration with Sana Pay and are an easy way to stay informed about processes such as:

Sana Pay sends system e-mails to notify a webstore administrator or customer about the success or failure of a particular payment process. The following e-mail templates are used to send these system emails.

Pay By Email

Sana Commerce Cloud sends this e-mail to the customers who pay for their orders using the Pay by email payment method. The e-mail contains a payment link that takes customers to a secure payment page where they can pay with their preferred payment method.

Sana Commerce Cloud sends an e-mail to the e-mail address specified by the customer when placing the order.

Authorisation [TRANSACTIONID] has changed

Sana Commerce Cloud sends this e-mail to the webstore administrator when the authorised payment amount has changed.

All e-mails are sent to the e-mail address specified in the Sana Pay add-on settings under Payment notifications.

Payment authorisation [TRANSACTIONID] cannot be extended

Sana Commerce Cloud sends this e-mail to the webstore administrator when Sana Pay cannot adjust the authorised payment amount.

All e-mails are sent to the e-mail address specified in the Sana Pay add-on settings under Payment notifications.

Payment capture notification

Sana Commerce Cloud sends this e-mail to the webstore administrator for each captured payment.

All emails are sent to the Administrator notification address specified in Sana Admin at the following location: Setup > Basics > E-mail addresses.

Payment [TRANSACTIONID] cannot be captured

Sana Commerce Cloud sends this e-mail to the webstore administrator for each payment that cannot be captured.

All e-mails are sent to the e-mail address specified in the Sana Pay add-on settings under Payment notifications.

Refund payment notification

Sana Commerce Cloud sends this e-mail to the webstore administrator for each refunded payment.

All emails are sent to the Administrator notification address specified in Sana Admin at the following location: Setup > Basics > E-mail addresses.

Payment [TRANSACTIONID] cannot be refunded

Sana Commerce Cloud sends this e-mail to the webstore administrator for each payment that cannot be refunded.

All e-mails are sent to the e-mail address specified in the Sana Pay add-on settings under Payment notifications.

Payment [TRANSACTIONID] has been cancelled

Sana Commerce Cloud sends this e-mail to the webstore administrator for each cancelled payment.

All e-mails are sent to the e-mail address specified in the Sana Pay add-on settings under Payment notifications.
