Google Shopping Feed
Compatibility: Sana Commerce Cloud 1.0.29 and higher.
Google shopping platform and e-commerce is a perfect match, particularly when the number of online buyers keeps climbing every year. Nowadays merchants must be agile and flexible in where and how they sell their products. To be successful in the market, to stay remarkable, to continuously impress customers, you should remember that today’s commerce industry is multichannel. It means you can offer your customers an online store, a social media site, a marketplace like Google, and a physical shop. Selling your products in multiple places dramatically increases your sales, diversifies your revenue streams, improves the customer experience, helps to scale your business.
A study conducted by different companies shows that Google is the most widespread search engine with up to 90% of worldwide requests (3.3 billion per day). As far as many businesses are creating and strengthening their digital presence, Sana Commerce Cloud suggests a Google shopping feed app to make online shopping seamless.
Sana Commerce Cloud presents an excellent possibility to grow your business and drive your sales with Google Merchant Center. It allows you to organize product data in a product feed, add products to Google by importing product data to Google Merchant Center, promote your products to reach more customers, and measure the impact of every sale. You have full control over your field mappings, and feed content, so your customers will always see the latest product information.
The main purpose of the Google shopping feed app is to promote your products online with Google using shopping ads, where more potential customers can see what you are selling and find what they are looking for easier and faster. For more information, read about Google shopping campaigns and shopping ads.
Google shopping feed is an app for e-commerce merchants which is used to export product data from your ERP system and Sana to the TSV file. You can export the basic and additional product information which is configurable within the app. Then you can import this product information to your Google Merchant Center - a container that holds information about all the products you want to sell or advertise across Google.
The Google shopping feed add-on makes your catalog available not only in your Sana webstore, but also on Google Merchant Center, so customers can easily find the products you are selling through different channels.
This manual provides information about how to use Sana’s Google shopping feed add-on, and how to upload products to Google Merchant Center, but not how to sell or advertise products across Google. If you don’t have enough knowledge about selling products across Google, refer to the official Google Merchant Center Help documentation.
