Deprecated Features

Below you can see the features that were removed in Sana Commerce Cloud. We removed some features from Sana Commerce Cloud for various reasons, for example some features were almost never used, but most importantly to continue delivering optimal support for new features and introduce new technologies.

Sana Mobile App

We stopped developing and selling the Sana mobile application long time ago. It was replaced by the responsive design of the Sana web store. The mobile app functionality was still available in Sana Commerce 9.3 and our current customers could continue using it. But we removed all Sana mobile app functionality from Sana Commerce Cloud. This means that it is not possible to use the Sana mobile app with Sana Commerce Cloud.

Moreover, both active and passive support for all versions of the Sana mobile app has ended. This means that we no longer support the Sana mobile app even for older Sana Commerce framework versions.
  • The design of a Sana web store is responsive. It is optimized for desktop and mobile browsing.
  • Releasing Sana Commerce Cloud we made the first steps towards Progressive Web Apps (PWA). The new Sana Commerce Cloud architecture allows to develop your own Progressive Web Application.

Design packs and store layouts

Replaced with improved themes, a customizable footer and header, and a new content management system.

 

System - task scheduler (scheduled task)

This system scheduled task cannot be used in the new Sana Commerce Cloud infrastructure. We are checking now if some replacement is needed.

AddThis

All AddThis services are terminated as of May 31, 2023. This means that AddThis social sharing buttons disappear from the webstore if you use this functionality, and all features of AddThis will no longer function. Therefore, we removed AddThis from Sana Commerce Cloud. For more information, see Notice of Termination of AddThis Services.

Will be replaced by the standard functionality in Sana Commerce Cloud instead of the add-on.
