Sana Hosting Only

Sana Commerce Cloud can only be hosted by Sana. It’s no longer possible to host our software on-premise. The main reason for this is scalability. Sana Commerce Cloud will be hosted in a so-called Docker container and managed by the Sana Platform Portal.

We have two types of customers that want to migrate:

  • Customers already hosting with us: we have access to their environments and data, so our teams can help migrating existing data.
  • Customers that do not host with us: before migrating to Sana Commerce Cloud, we will first migrate all existing data to the Sana Platform Portal.

Hosting and support will always be included for Sana Commerce Cloud.

  • Client: The visitor of the Sana Commerce Cloud webstore.
  • Ingress controller: The Ingress Controller exposes HTTP and HTTPS routes from outside the cluster to services within the cluster. Traffic routing is controlled by rules defined on the Ingress resource.
  • Node: Is a worker machine inside a pool of worker machines. This node runs the application. In this case Sana Commerce Cloud. This application is also known as a pod.
  • SQL Database server with elastic database pool: SQL Database elastic pool is a solution for managing and scaling multiple databases that have varying and unpredictable usage demands. Elastic pools in SQL Database enable SaaS developers to optimize the performance for a group of databases delivering performance elasticity for each database.
  • Storage account: This provides all customer specific data. This is content (ex. product images), logs and add-on packages. Storage data that is accessible from anywhere in the world over HTTPS. Data in a storage account is durable and highly available, secure, and massively scalable.
