Sana Cookiebar

A Sana webstore uses cookies for webstore functionality and analytics information to identify users and remember their preferences for the sole purpose of providing the service required by the user. For more information, see Cookies.
European laws require that website owners inform their users about the use of cookies. To do this, you can add a cookiebar to your webstore.
Set Up Sana Cookiebar
Step 1: In Sana Admin click: Setup > Page elements & messages > Cookiebar.
Step 2: In the Cookiebar type field, select Sana cookiebar.
The available options are:

Do not show: The cookiebar is not used in the webstore.

Sana cookiebar: Sana cookiebar is used in the webstore.

Usercentrics: Usercentrics cookiebar is used in the webstore. For more information, see Usercentrics Cookiebar.
The table below provides the description of the cookiebar settings.

Cookiebar position |
Select where you want to show the cookiebar, either at the top or at the bottom of your webstore. |
Additional information page |
You can assign any internal page or external URL to the cookiebar that contains some additional information, for example the description of cookies that are used in your webstore and other security measures. To link the internal page, you can search for it by title or URL. A user can open this page by clicking on the button More information on the cookiebar. |
Customer segments |
You can assign customer segments to the cookiebar to show it to different customer groups, for example, customers from certain countries. For more information, see Customer Segments. |
You can use In-site editor to change the text of the cookiebar message and buttons.
Cookiebar Styles
In Sana Admin click: Design & Layout > Themes. Click Edit on the necessary theme.
On the Typography tab, you can change the font size of the cookiebar message.
On the Components tab, you can change the background color and the font color of the cookiebar message.
