Raw Data Export

The Raw Data Export add-on gives you full access to your webstore’s behavioral and operational data, enabling you to do advanced analytics and reporting within your environment, using your tools.

It combines two powerful sources of data:

• Webstore data from Sana Commerce Cloud, such as shop accounts and open baskets.

• Web analytics data from Piwik PRO, including all sessions and user events.

This makes the add-on ideal for organizations that already have mature analytics capabilities or use tools like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or their own data lake setup.

How it Works

Every day (outside of business hours), Sana Commerce Cloud offloads a full set of your raw data to a dedicated, secure Azure Blob Storage container that is set up specifically for your organization.

You receive access to this container and can extract the data using standard BI tools, data pipelines, or other platforms of your choice.

The data is stored in the Parquet file format and updated daily. It includes the following tables:

• Shop Accounts

• Open Shopping Baskets (headers and lines)

• Piwik PRO Sessions

• Piwik PRO Events

Together, this gives you a rich and flexible dataset to power your own:

• Customer segmentation and profiling

• Campaign performance tracking

• Funnel or journey analysis

• Custom dashboards and KPIs

• Predictive modeling and more
