PayPal Checkout Supported Features

Below you can see languages, currencies and other features supported by PayPal Checkout.

Currency

  • AUD, CAD, CZK, DKK, EUR, HKD, ILS, MXN, NZD, NOK, PHP, PLN, GBP, RUB, SGD, SEK, CHF, THB, USD.

  • HUF, JPY, TWD: These currencies do not support decimals. If you pass a decimal amount, an error occurs.

  • BRL: This currency is supported as a payment currency and a currency balance for in-country PayPal accounts only. If the receiver of funds is not from Brazil, then PayPal converts funds into the primary holding currency of the account with the applicable currency conversion rate. The currency conversion rate includes PayPal's applicable spread or fee.

  • INR: This currency is supported as a payment currency and a currency balance for in-country PayPal India accounts only.

  • MYR: This currency is supported as a payment currency and a currency balance for in-country PayPal accounts only.

NOTE

The PayPal Checkout payment provider integrated with Sana Commerce Cloud was tested with the USD and EUR currencies. You are free to use any other currencies supported by PayPal Checkout besides those which were tested by us, but you should test them by yourself beforehand and make sure that everything works as expected.

NOTE

The PayPal Checkout payment provider integrated with Sana was tested for the English and Dutch languages. You are free to use any other languages supported by PayPal Checkout besides those which were tested by us, but you should test them by yourself beforehand and make sure that everything works as expected.
ISO / other standards

  • ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 (two-letter country codes)

  • Some countries require postal codes. To see which countries need postal codes, refer to the official PayPal Developer documentation Country and region codes.
