MercadoPago
Compatibility:
- MercadoPago 1.0.0 is available for Sana Commerce Cloud 1.0.6 and higher.
- MercadoPago 2.0.0 is available for Sana Commerce Cloud 1.0.18 and higher.
MercadoPago is a payment gateway solution for e-commerce merchants in Latin America to send and receive online payments. It is available in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay.
Sana Commerce Cloud is integrated with MercadoPago using the Checkout Pro method. For more information, see Checkout Pro.
Due to MercadoPago limitations, Sana Commerce Cloud does not send shipping cost or discount to MercadoPago. Instead, Sana sends an extra dummy item to match the total price. It is used to fix the issue which occurs in MercadoPago, when calculating the total price.

Checkout Pro
When customers click on the Pay button on the last checkout step in the Sana webstore, they will be redirected to the MercadoPago hosted payment page to complete the payment.
The Pay through bank deposit, Pay through bank transfer and 3D Security features were not tested since these features are not supported on the MercadoPago test environment.
