Adyen is a technology partner of Sana Commerce and we leverage Adyen’s payment technology and global licenses. Sana Commerce provides Sana Pay as its own payment service provider instead of Adyen.

Sana Commerce Cloud does not have a separate app for Adyen. There are several scenarios when you can use Adyen as a payment service provider for the Sana webstore. In this case, the Sana Pay app is used to integrate with Adyen, because the basic configuration of Sana Pay and Adyen is identical. This manual provides a basic setup guide for connecting your Sana webstore to Adyen, specifically for those who have a direct contract with Adyen. For more detailed information on supported functionalities and configurations, refer to the Sana Pay manual.

Adyen is a global multichannel payment company offering businesses an outsourced payment solution, which enables merchants to accept payments from anywhere in the world and provides a global payment solution for mid, large and enterprise e-commerce merchants.

Adyen's online payment platform connects to 250 payment methods across North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia, Pacific, and Oceania. Adyen holds full acquiring licenses for Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners, Discover and Union Pay schemes. In addition, Adyen has multiple local licenses and partnerships across the world's most important and emerging regions.

Who Can Use Adyen as a Payment Service Provider to Accept Online Payments?

In some cases, it is still possible to integrate a Sana webstore with Adyen to receive online payments:

  • New Sana Commerce customers who already use Adyen as a POS solution or payment service provider in their business.
  • Existing Sana Commerce customers who already use Adyen as a POS solution or payment service provider for their Sana webstore.

If you want to use Adyen as a payment service provider for the Sana webstore to accept online payments, you must already have a test and a live Adyen accounts.

Since you are contracted directly with Adyen, support will also be provided by Adyen, but not by Sana Commerce.
