Sana and Facebook Catalog Product Feed

Social media platforms and e-commerce is a perfect match, particularly when social media usage is increasing and customers tend to shop through different online channels more. As far as many businesses are creating and strengthening their digital presence, Sana suggests a Facebook catalog product feed add-on to make online shopping seamless. Selling product through social media can provide huge benefits for the companies: drive customers’ engagement, build strong customers’ relationships, increase sales, improve traffic to the web store, offer powerful word-of-mouth marketing through different posts, reviews, stories and many more besides.

Facebook catalog product feed is an add-on for e-commerce merchants which is used to export product data from your ERP system and Sana to the CSV file. You can export the basic and additional product information which is configurable within the add-on. Then you can import this product information to your Facebook catalog - a container that holds information about all the products you want to sell or advertise on Facebook.

The Facebook catalog product feed add-on makes your product catalog available not only in your web store, but also on Facebook, so customers can easily find the products you are selling through different channels.

NOTE

This add-on was implemented to advertise or sell products on Facebook, but not Instagram. The generated product feed may not be compatible with Instagram.

This manual provides information about how to use Sana’s Facebook catalog product feed add-on, but not how to create catalogs in Facebook. If you don’t have enough knowledge about how to create and manage catalogs in Facebook, refer to the official Facebook documentation.
