Export Data from Sana to Mailchimp

When the connection between Sana Commerce Cloud and Mailchimp is established, you can easily import customer accounts and data as well as customer sales statistics from your ERP system directly to Mailchimp. You can import all Sana shop accounts, newsletter subscriptions, and abandoned carts to Mailchimp, and use customer segments to import additional customer information from ERP to Mailchimp, but only for those customers who have shop accounts. A customer segment can be created based on the:

  • Customer data from ERP

  • Customer sales statistics from ERP

  • Customer shop accounts from Sana Admin except for guest accounts as guests do not have shop accounts

  • Basket (for example, customers with open cart items) from the Sana database except for the baskets of the guests

Those customers who satisfy the selected criteria in the assigned customer segment will be imported to Mailchimp. Together with customers, you can also import customer data and sales statistics from your ERP system directly to Mailchimp based on the selected segmentation fields.

NOTE

If Sana Commerce Cloud does not support sales statistics for your ERP system, you can still use Mailchimp. If sales statistics is not supported, you will not be able to use this data in customer segments and import it to Mailchimp.

Besides, you can easily export product data from Sana Commerce Cloud and your ERP system and import it directly to Mailchimp. All products will be imported to Mailchimp. In Mailchimp you will see the basic product data like product ID, name, description, image, price, product page URL, etc.

Also, you can export order data from Sana Commerce Cloud and your ERP system and import it directly to Mailchimp. Order data can be used to provide more detailed campaign reports, track sales, send personalized e-mails to your customers, and view other e-commerce data in your Mailchimp account.
