To be able to use USPS Domestic shipping services, you should also take into account the following:

  • Connection to the USPS test environment may not return the customer specific rates in the shipping cost responds.

  • Physical dimensions should be set up for the items in your ERP system and should not exceed the maximum item dimensions of the container type allowed by USPS. When you select a container type, below you can see the allowed package size and weight.

  • If you are using the USPS Business Postage Price Calculator  or USPS Retail Postage Price Calculator  to check the available shipping services and costs, they can differ from what you see in the Sana webstore. This might happen if the shipping origin and destination in the USPS shipping calculator are not the same as those coming from Sana.

    In order to see the same shipping services and costs in Sana as in the USPS shipping calculator, the addresses must be the same.

NOTE

Applies to: USPS Domestic 1.0.1 and prior versions. Please pay attention to the following changes in USPS Domestic, you might need to reconfigure your shipping methods:

  • Parcel Select and Retail Ground have been retired and replaced with the newly introduced USPS Ground Advantage. Users should update their shipping methods to use the service types.

  • USPS has discontinued the Regional Rate Box prices, and the Regional Rate Box container types will not be displayed. Users may need to reconfigure their shipping methods. USPS recommends using Cubic Parcels as an alternative.

  • USPS has combined the Commercial and Commercial Plus rate types which are now referred to as Commercial.
