Sana and USPS Domestic
Compatibility: Sana Commerce Cloud 1.0.24 and higher.
USPS Domestic supports only the USA shipments. It means the shipping origin and destination should always be the USA. Customer's currency must be the United States Dollar (USD).
The United States Postal Service, also known as the Post Office, U.S. Mail, or Postal Service, often abbreviated as USPS, is an independent agency of the United States government responsible for providing postal service in the United States. The company also provides package delivery services. Shipping with USPS means you get access to the country's largest delivery network. With a range of business shipping services available, you can choose the one that's right for your business.
With USPS Domestic shipping services different shipping rates are available that allow customers to choose the shipping method they want and check delivery status of their package using the tracking number. For the detailed information about USPS package delivery services, please read the USPS Web Tools API Portal and USPS Mail & Shipping Services.
Integration between Sana and USPS allows to calculate shipping costs by USPS real-time depending on the selected USPS Domestic shipping method, customer's shipping address, actual weight and dimensions of the package.
Customers will be able to check delivery status of their package any time using the tracking number, if it is available in the ERP system.
