UPS Troubleshooting

  • If in the Sana trace logs there is an exception without any description related to UPS, most probably this is because of the wrong UPS configuration. An error can occur when UPS cannot calculate the shipping rates due to invalid data in the request. To avoid an exception, a web store administrator must carefully configure the UPS add-on in Sana Admin. Check whether the settings listed below are correctly configured:

    • Provide a valid service URL and UPS user credentials.
    • Provide the valid shipper number if the negotiated rates are enabled.
    • Provide a valid shipping origin.
  • If the data mentioned above is valid, but the exception still occurs, then try to calculate shipping rates using the UPS shipping calculator. If the UPS shipping calculator can calculate the shipping rates using the same data, then contact Sana support for further investigation.
