In the current situation, Sana connects to a single Sales Area. In SAP however, ERP environments can be set up with multiple sales areas, distribution channels and divisions. This feature aims to develop the functionality within the webstore and ERP system to display and interact with data from multiple sales areas.

Previously, Sana Commerce Cloud only supported U.S. states, for example, for customer registration and shipping addresses. With this improvement, all states, regions or countries configured in the ERP from anywhere in the world can be retrieved, shown or hidden in the webstore.

Pre-Ordering enables customer to reserve products that have generated excitement or anticipation, even before they are physically in stock.
For the ERP Admin, the pre-order functionality provides valuable insights into customer demand. It allows them to measure interest in upcoming and out of stock products and make more informed decisions about production, stocking, and inventory management.

The fields that can be used to filter within the different document history overviews table will become editable. A fixed set of fields will be selectable as filter field. Additionally it will be possible to send a custom field to be used for filtering. Think about the reference number, a custom field project ID or another default field such as the shop account e-mail address if stored against the document type.

We're planning to introduce a feature that will allow webstore to display stock from different locations (warehouses) in the web store. 

This initial release prioritizes enhancing the visibility of multi-location stock in the web store.

As a web store user, I would like to be able to see the stock level of products in the different locations of the store I'm buying from, so that I can decide if I order all products online or if I need to collect or purchase (some) products directly at one of the available locations.

Currently in Sana only one inventory level from the ERP can be shown per product. This is either the inventory level from the default location (warehouse) set for the web store in the ERP, or from the location set on either customer or product level. Some ERPs also support and communicate consolidated stock to Sana, this is the sum of the available inventory at a group of locations. The level (web store/customer/product/consolidated) from which stock can be shown in Sana, depends per ERP. But in all scenarios, only one inventory level can be shown in Sana.

The purpose of this new feature is to support multi-location stock, meaning inventory levels from other locations available in the ERP can be shown in the web store too. This increases the transparency in product availability for a customer; hence web store owners can mitigate the risk that customers may shop at a competitor in case the product is unavailable in the default inventory location assigned to them, while the product is be available at another location.

With this new feature Sana Admin users will be able to define a percentage based payment cost for a payment method. This will allow you to charge for instance a 3% payment fee for the usage of credit cards.

We're planning to introduce the option to display Customer Item Numbers from the ERP, so that customers can recognize, find and purchase items in the web store using the item numbers they are familiar with.

Note: this feature is known in ERP systems by different names: 'Item Cross References' in NAV/BC, 'External Item Numbers' in AX/F&O, 'Business Partner Catalog Numbers' in SAP B1, etc.

Stay on top of your orders as a shopping customer in the webshop. Introducing the Backorder lines overview in the 'My Account' section so you can easily track all products still pending for delivery / order completion in one convenient overview.

Often the B2B customers know what the standard delivery time is for products that are in stock. Sometimes it is customer depended if shipments are split or not, and the customer also knows in that case if they want the shipment to be spit or not, meaning that they know how to interpret the information of availability. 

Showing the stock message in the shopping cart will give them a clear and transparant overview of their order, setting proper expectancies on possible delivery.
