Sana Commerce Cloud (SCC 109) April 28, 2021 Hotfix

Release date: April 28, 2021

April 28, 2021 we released a hotfix for the Sana Commerce Cloud add-on version SCC 109 for SAP Business One. All improvements and bug fixes are included in the SCC 109 add-on on Sana Community.

Below you can see the list of improvements that were made in this hotfix.

Optimized the GetProducts Call to Handle Large Number of UOM Data

We improved the GetProducts call to handle large number of UOM data stored in SAP Business One. With this change we significantly improved performance when customers add items to the shopping cart or recalculate the shopping cart in the Sana webstore.

Compatibility for All Windows Localizations

Sana Commerce Cloud ERP connector for SAP Business One now supports all Windows localizations. With the latest SCC 109 release which includes this improvement, the Sana Commerce Cloud add-on for SAP Business One can be installed and configured on Windows Server with any Windows localization.

Updating an Existing B2C Customer Record in SAP Business One

When a B2C customer registers in the Sana webstore online, a business partner is created in SAP Business One. If the same customer tries to register again in the Sana webstore, the data of the existing business partner will be updated in SAP Business One instead of creating a new business partner. The email address of the registered B2C customer is used to check whether the same customer already exists in SAP Business One.

Removed Inactive UDFs

The Sana user-defined fields (UDFs) ContactNameS and ContactNameB that are in the RDR12 table have been removed from the Sana Commerce Cloud add-on for SAP Business One. These UDFs can cause problems if they are not removed from the database before upgrading SAP Business One to a new version.

Item Variant Relationship Configuration Fix

When you configure item variant relationship in SAP Business One, all items are automatically sorted in ascending order in the Item Codes column based on the item numbers, which allows customers to order the parent item as well. This has been fixed. The parent item cannot be ordered and is simply shown first in the list.
