Support of the On Account Payments for Call Center Orders
There are different retail channels in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail, such as stores and call centers, as sales orders can be created through different channels. Different businesses work with different sales channels.
We also support call centers as a type of retail channel in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. In a call center, workers take orders from customers over the phone and create sales orders. But until now we have not supported customers’ on account payments for call center orders. Now this payment type is also supported. It can be selected in the webstore settings in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations and must be enabled for a customer. This is a standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations functionality.
