Sana Commerce Cloud 1.130

Release date: October 1, 2025

Learn about improvements and bug fixes in this release.

Not every release comes with new features, but we're always working behind the scenes to improve Sana Commerce Cloud. From boosting performance and reliability to fixing bugs and refining the user experience, each update helps make Sana Commerce Cloud better. We also include essential security updates to keep your data and our system safe. All of these improvements lay the groundwork for a stable, secure, and scalable platform. At the same time, we are working on new functionality that will be included in future releases.

What’s New?

URL Redirects for Multilingual Webstores

We've implemented URL redirect settings for a specific scenario where the webstore is used in multiple languages.

If your webstore was once available in multiple languages and you decide to disable or remove those languages, URLs that once included the language culture name (e.g., de-de, fr-fr, nl-nl) will no longer exist. Users who have these old URLs saved, for example, as bookmarks, will need to be redirected to the default language version of the page.

Sana Commerce Cloud automatically handles these redirects, but a webstore administrator can now choose which type of redirect to use: Temporary or Permanent.

Previously, all redirects were automatically set as temporary (302 redirects), and webstore administrators couldn’t change this.

Redesigned Webstore Messages

In this release, we have redesigned the alert messages used across the webstore to improve both usability and visual clarity. Messages now have a more polished appearance with added borders and close buttons, making them easier for users to notice and interact with. Where applicable, we have also introduced call-to-action (CTA) buttons within alerts, allowing customers to quickly respond to certain messages.

Old Design of Store Messages

New Design of Store Messages

Additionally, we have added a new setting to Themes called Button background color for success, error, warning, and info messages. This allows store owners to customize the background color of CTA buttons within alert messages, helping to maintain brand consistency and improve the overall look and feel of the store.

These changes aim to enhance the customer experience and give store administrators more control over the design and behavior of alerts.

Bug Fixes

One of the benefits of the minor releases on a regular basis is that you constantly receive bug fixes. Below you can see the list of some bugs that we fixed in this release. We do not add all bug fixes, but only the most important ones, since there are many technical fixes, minor design fixes, or performance-related fixes that we do not add to the release notes.

  1. Fixed an issue on the User management page in Sana Admin where the user selection and Delete selected items button malfunction after an admin user is deleted.
  2. Fixed an issue with the service line not showing for configurable products on the Order overview checkout step in the Sana webstore.
  3. Fixed an issue where product images are resized incorrectly when added to the Media tab in Sana Admin.
  4. Fixed an issue where a user is redirected to the product group page instead of the product details page when searching by customer item number for a product that belongs to a product group, while the Redirect direct match to child page option is enabled.
  5. Fixed an issue with the incorrect sorting of products by title on the product list page in the webstore when a non-default language is selected and product grouping is enabled.
  6. Fixed an issue where the visual designer on product group pages in Sana Admin fails to load when the group ID field in the ERP system contains the "%" character.
  7. Fixed an issue where the Sales document page in Sana Admin cannot be accessed if the ERP system does not respond correctly when retrieving related table fields.
  8. Fixed an issue with silent authentication in the webstore when using single sign-on (SSO) caused by the redirect URL containing a language culture name.
