Supported Microsoft Dynamics NAV Versions

NOTE

To secure data communications between Sana Commerce Cloud and Microsoft Dynamics NAV using SSL, the server which hosts the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Web service must support TLS 1.2. TLS 1.2 is available on Windows Server 2008 R2 and higher. It is not available on Windows Server 2008 by default, but you can install an update to add support for TLS 1.2 on Windows Server 2008. For more information, see Set Up Microsoft Dynamics NAV Web Service to Use SSL.

Good to Know

It is possible to call the GetSettings API method in Sana Admin to see the version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV that the Sana webstore is connected to. This can be used by technical people, product specialists, or support consultants, especially if they don’t have access to Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

Most people know Microsoft Dynamics NAV by its product name, such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018. But each name corresponds to a specific version. When you execute the GetSettings request in Sana Admin, Microsoft Dynamics NAV returns its version, but not the product name.

In the table above, you can see the supported versions of Microsoft Dynamics NAV along with their corresponding product names.
