Limitations

If you use Microsoft Dynamics AX Retail, you should be aware of some limitations you may encounter.

• Microsoft Dynamics AX retail discounts are not supported for the order processing strategy that is optimized for large orders.

• Starting from Sana Commerce Cloud 10.0 24 in Microsoft Dynamics AX, you can use sales quotations when the retail functionality is enabled. In the previous versions of Sana Commerce Cloud in Microsoft Dynamics AX we have some limitations, for example customers cannot convert quotations into sales orders with the enabled retail functionality.
  
  Using sales quotations with the retail functionality in Microsoft Dynamics AX is still quite limited. That is because of the limitations in the standard functionality. Thus, you have to consider any potential problems with price calculation that may occur when using sales quotations with the retail functionality. For example, if you use sales quotations with the retail discounts only simple discounts can be used. Mix and match discounts, quantity discounts, coupons, price adjustments, affiliations, are not supported. Sana’s mix and match discounts and coupons are also not supported. You can only use simple retail discounts, Sana’s webshop discounts, and the standard line discounts.
  
  To use sales quotations when the retail functionality is enabled for Sana Commerce Cloud, you must enable quotations for Retail in the Webshop optimization window.
